# How to Make It:
01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F.
02 - Melt butter in a large ovenproof skillet over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and maple syrup until dissolved and bubbling, approximately 2 minutes.
03 - Add sliced pears to the skillet, sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg, gently toss to coat, and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally until pears soften and begin to caramelize.
04 - Stir in walnut halves and vanilla extract until evenly combined.
05 - Transfer the skillet or pour mixture into a baking dish; bake for 18 to 20 minutes until pears are tender and walnuts are toasted.
06 - Remove from oven, allow to cool slightly, and serve warm topped with Greek yogurt or vanilla ice cream if desired.
