01 - 7 oz high-quality dark chocolate
02 - 7 oz high-quality white chocolate
→ Peppermint Topping
03 - 8 peppermint candy canes or 4 oz crushed hard peppermint candies
04 - 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract (optional)
→ Garnish
05 - 0.7 oz crushed freeze-dried raspberries (optional)
06 - 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips (optional)
# How to Make It:
01 - Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
02 - Melt dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in short microwave bursts, stirring until smooth.
03 - Pour melted dark chocolate onto the prepared sheet and spread evenly into a rough rectangle about 1/4 inch thick with a spatula.
04 - Refrigerate for 10 minutes until the dark chocolate is just set but not fully firm.
05 - Using the same melting method, melt white chocolate and stir in peppermint extract if desired.
06 - Pour melted white chocolate evenly over the chilled dark layer and spread with a spatula.
07 - Immediately sprinkle crushed peppermint candies and optional garnishes evenly over the white chocolate, pressing lightly so they adhere.
08 - Refrigerate for 20 to 30 minutes until fully set and firm.
09 - Break or cut the set chocolate into irregular shards and arrange loosely on a serving board for sharing.
